Thank you to those who attended the joint City Council and Planning Commission meeting on March 4th and recent Redwood Life project meetings and webinars. We appreciate your participation, public comments, and continued engagement in the process. The City has scheduled a second City Council meeting on the Redwood Life project alternative at 6pm on Monday, April 14th, with the Redwood Life Precise Plan agendized on the consent calendar.  You may submit written comments from now until 5:00 p.m. on April 14th by sending them to publiccomment@redwoodcity.org.  You may also speak in person at the meeting under the Public Comment on the Consent Calendar section of the agenda.

• If City Council provides direction on a project alternative, the Notice of Preparation (NOP), a first step in the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) process, will be prepared and released. An EIR scoping meeting will follow and is likely to occur in the summer. The EIR scoping meeting will allow public agencies and members of the public to provide feedback on the scope of environmental issues to analyze in the EIR. The City-led consultant team will then begin detailed environmental and community benefits analysis, and commence preparation of the Precise Plan.
